Association Activities conducted in the year 2011-2012

• Interaction with IT Entrepreneurs from Belgaum for 5^th Semester Mini Project arranged on 2^nd August, 2011
• .C/Aptitude test for all the students of 3^rd and 5^th semester conducted on 12^th August, 2011.
• Mehandi, Hairstyle and Face painting completion conducted on 19^th August, 2011.
  
• Inter department Football Match and Lagori held on 26^th August, 2011.
  
• Technical Group Discussion conducted on 16^th September, 2011.
  
• Seminar on Soft Skills by MCA Alumni Mr. Aravind Kulkarni from Honeywell arranged on 17^th September, 2011.
  
• Mixed Cricket Tournament conducted on 23^rd September, 2011.
  
• Non-Fuel cooking competition conducted on 30^th September, 2011.
  
• “Social Responsibility Awareness Programme”. The students of MCA department visited ‘Chikkumbimath Balamandir Orphanage’ on Gandhi Jayanti and distributed food and compos box  on 2^nd October, 2011.. The students contributed money towards this programme and the total collection from the students was Rs.7160. The faculty members also contributed and the collection from them was Rs.3403.
• ACAE Inauguration and Freshers Welcome function organized on 3^rd October, 2011.
• Orientation Programme for Freshers 4^th October, 2011.
• Rangoli Competition for 1^st semester students held on  14^th October 2011.
  
• Workshop was conducted on  Computer Hardware by Prof. V. R. Kokitkar for 1^st semester students on 21^st October, 2011.
• Volleyball tournament for 1^st semester students held on  23^rd November, 2011.
  
• IBM DB2 Workshop for staff and students of MCA, CSE, ISE and E&C was organized for 3 days from  26^th Dec – 28^th Dec, 2011. . The workshop was taken by Mr.Ratnam K. (IBM Resource Person).

Association Activities conducted in the year 2012-13

1. The ACAE of MCA department conducted a talk on “Current trends in the Industry” on 8^th August 2012 by Mr. Suraj Vernekar, a proud alumnus of Gogte Institute of Technology, MCA Department. The talk was conducted for the students of 5^th semester.
2. The MCA department conducted elections for student coordinator for ACAE. One student coordinator from 5^th semester and one from 3^rd semester were elected. 6 students from 5^th semester and 6 students from 3^rd semester stood for the elections.
3. The ACAE of MCA department in association with Rotary Club South, Inner Wheel Club of Belgaum and Mahaveer Blood Bank conducted a blood donation camp in the college on 17^th August 2012. More than 100 students donated their blood for a noble cause.
4. The students of MCA department celebrated Teacher’s day on 5^th September 2012 with great zeal and enthusiasm and showed their love and respect towards the staff members of MCA department.
5. The ACAE of MCA department conducted cricket matches for girls and boys of 3^rd and 5^th semester students on 15^th September 2012.
6. The ACAE of MCA department conducted C-Aptitude test for the students of 3^rd semester on 29^th September 2012. This was the first elimination round.
7. SWC of MCA organized "Parents Meet 2012-13" for the parents of III and V sem. students on 8th October 2012. Many parents of their wards attended the function and shared their thoughts and showed their care towards their childrens.
8. ACAE of MCA organized "Freshers Welcome function and Orientation program" for I sem MCA students on 19th October 2012.
