The Department offers a four year degree programme in Information Science and Engineering. The course comprises of the fundamental subjects like Datastructures, Algorithms, Unix Shell Programming, Graph Thoery, Operating System, Database Management Systems, Compilers, Networking, Cryptography, Storage Area Networks, Grid Computing, Data Mining etc. The students would also carryout a Project work in their final year and give a Seminar on the latest trends in the IT field as part of their academic requirement.

The theory subjects are supported by laboratory experiments. These include, Data Structure lab. Algorithms lab. Microprocessor Lab. Database Applicaitons Lab. System Software Lab. File Structures Lab. Web Programming Lab. Networking Lab. etc.
