Goals
LONG TERM GOALS - To have IEEE hub for conducting National and International Conferences in the fields of Science and Technology. To encourage staff and students to actively participate and promote research oriented activities.
SHORT TERM GOALS - To enhance the Teaching-Learning facilities to achieve our long term goals. To improve the skill set of students by way of extra curricular activities. To arrange State and National Level Seminars and Workshops under the ISTE/IETE/STEP program to promote research activity.

Started in 1979, the department offers B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engg., M.Sc.(Engg. by Research) and Ph.D., affiliated to VTU,Belgaum, The department has M.Tech. in Digital Communication & Networking and M.Tech.(QIP Part-time) in Digital Electronics.
