OVERVIEW
Department of chemistry is established in the year 1979 to provide basics of chemistry to undergraduate Engg. students. Department always has a credit of having best results at University exams.
The department is recognized as a research center in the year 2005 and offers Ph.D. programme, which is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
Department also undertakes the consultancy and testing.
The faculty members are actively involved in academic and research.
Major research areas are Ion-exchange selectivity studies, Water quality, Reaction Kinetics and Environmental chemistry.
Faculty members have published a number of research papers in reputed national and international journals and presented papers in national / International conferences and seminars.
